Jonathan Glick is an Associate at Simeone & Miller, LLP. He first began
working at the firm in 2008 as a paralegal, worked with the firm as a
law student, and is now admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland,
both in state and federal courts. As a result, he has extensive experience
with every stage and aspect of personal injury cases from case intake
to disbursement of a client’s recovery. His application for admission
to the District of Columbia bar is pending.
As a result of his broad experience, Mr. Glick serves as lead counsel on
cases involving automobile accidents and premises liability. In addition,
he works with the partners on the firm’s larger, more complex cases,
including medical malpractice, defective products, and cases involving
significant personal injuries from motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls,
and other personal injuries.
He has significant experience working with expert witnesses, including
in the medical field, on a variety of cases. In several cases, he has
organized significant volumes of medical records and worked with physicians
to provide the reports necessary to successfully obtain compensation for
his clients. He has also handled diverse matters such as defamation, contract
disputes, and complex uninsured motorist cases.
His experience includes drafting of settlement demands, drafting of complaints,
all aspects of the discovery process, and trial. He has negotiated several
settlements, including several complex matters and successfully tried
several cases resulting in favorable judgments for his clients. Recently,
Mr. Glick served as co-counsel in a Maryland case that resulted in a $500,000.00
settlement for a client involved in a severe motorcycle accident.
He is a 2013 graduate of University of Maryland Francis King Carey School
of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Criminal
Justice from the University of Maryland at College Park.
He previously worked as an intern for Judge Stephen Sfekas of the Baltimore
City Circuit Court, with a specific focus in juvenile court and the Operation
Safe kids Court. While interning for Judge Sfekas, Mr. Glick reviewed
violation of probation/parole cases and provided summaries to Judge Sfekas
to assist him in adjudicating these cases. Additionally, Mr. Glick performed
legal research and assisted in the drafting of a written opinion for Judge
Sfekas. He also was a law clerk for the Baltimore City State's Attorney
Office, specifically in their domestic violence division, aiding in the
adjudication of a variety of domestic violence cases. He also was a Rule
16 admitted student-attorney for the University of Maryland Re-Entry of
Ex-Offenders Clinic, where he assisted clients attempting to expunge their
criminal records in the State of Maryland and led bi-weekly expungement
workshops at local community centers in Baltimore City.
