Alan Higgins is an Associate at Simeone & Miller, LLP where he handles personal injury matters. Prior to joining Simeone & Miller, Mr. Higgins worked as a law clerk for firms in Washington, D.C. and Maryland focusing on premises liability matters, medical malpractice, product liability matters, motor vehicle accidents resulting in significant injuries.

Mr. Higgins has significant experience in the litigation process including pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlements. Mr. Higgins is a graduate of American University Washington College of Law where he won the Alvina Reckman-Myers Moot Court Competition and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and Administrative Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Higgins was a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee (Ret.) in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Prior to law school, Mr. Higgins was an officer in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in International Relations.
