Joanne Lee

Joanne Lee is an Associate at Simeone & Miller, LLP. She handles personal injury matters and is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Ms. Lee has trial experience with favorable verdicts, has successfully settled numerous cases, and is familiar with all stages of litigation in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Lee is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law in Maryland, where she was heavily involved in litigation practice. She was a member of the National Trial Competition team and actively participated in various trial advocacy classes. During her last year of law school, Ms. Lee worked as a Rule-19 student attorney at the Office of the Public Defenders in Baltimore City District Court as part of her criminal practice clinic, through which she worked on numerous criminal cases for defendants with limited income. She simultaneously worked as a law clerk at a mid-sized law firm in Baltimore, where she worked on various automobile accident, product liability, and medical malpractice cases for one of the firm’s named partners. Ms. Lee is particularly experienced in handling a high-volume caseload and is versed well in every stage of the litigation process. Ms. Lee has experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Barry G. Williams in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, and at the Office of Special Masters within the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Ms. Lee also has experience working with diverse caseloads varying from family law, criminal defense, to contract disputes, discrimination, and disability. Ms. Lee is a graduate of George Mason University, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Law, and Society. She is currently an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, Fraternity International, LaBrum Chapter, and a former member of the George Mason University Pre-Law Chapter.
