It is with much excitement that our team at Simeone & Miller can announce the winner of the latest “Good Lawyers/Good People” Scholarship contest: Rowlie John Flores! He will be starting at Tulane University Law School this upcoming fall semester as a first-year law student or 1L.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Rowlie holds a deep appreciation for the environment of the islands. When he finishes law school, he plans to focus on environmental law, so he can use his talents to preserve the beauty of his home state.

To say the least, our entire team was moved by Rowlie’s scholarship essay. In it, he shared his love of Hawaii and nature, and why it would be a dream to advance a career that entwined with those passions. There we so many incredible entries this year, but we all agreed that Rowlie truly earned the top spot.

Huge congratulations are in order for Rowlie John Flores and his winning essay! As the grand prize winner of this scholarship contest, he has won $1,000 from Simeone & Miller to help pay for his law school tuition and costs. It is truly an honor to help uplift the future of American lawyers in this way. We all look forward to the many amazing things you will certainly accomplish one day as a newsworthy environmental law attorney.
