Today we won an important victory for one of the children we represent. Our client, a young child, fell from monkey bars and suffered a comminuted fracture of both his humerus and radius. The injuries required surgery, skin grafting, and left substantial scarring. While monkey bars are an important part of the development of children, it is very important that the spacing and height of the monkey bars be age and size appropriate.

In this particular case, our client was allowed to use monkey bars that were unsuitable for his age. Through the hard work of our attorneys and extensive litigation, we were able to resolve this matter. The resolution should go a long way to securing this child’s educational future. It is our hope and the hope of our client’s mother that this resolution may also help to prevent anything like this from happening again.
