In addition to serving as an adjunct law professor at The George Washington University Law School, Thomas J. Simeone also serves as a faculty advisor and oversees the writing of a legal problem for the Estrella Mock Trial Competition in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The competition is sponsored by GWU Law alum Alberto Estrella and attracts student teams from law schools across the country, including Cal Berkeley, UVA, UCLA, Fordham, Emory, GWU, and William & Mary.

This year’s competition was held this past weekend and involved a wrongful death claim that resulted from an allegedly mis-filled prescription. Mr. Simeone supervised GWU students Garrett Henderson, Kelly Marco, and Jacqueline Der Ovanesian in drafting the problem.

Congratulations to the competitors and the students who wrote the problem and thank you to Mr. Estrella for his generous sponsorship.
