Sara graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Society. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted an independent research project with the UCLA Heat Lab examining the correlation between socioeconomic status and fire department response times, with the goal of supporting efforts to make fire protection and emergency response more equitable. She also completed a capstone project focused on food safety, specifically analyzing the 2011 Shiga-toxin–producing E. coli outbreak that affected Germany, the United States, and other parts of Europe. As part of this project, she and her capstone partner conducted multiple expert interviews to investigate the source of the contamination.
When she is not working, Sara enjoys taking workout classes, reading fiction books, and going on walks. She plans to attend law school to pursue her passion for law and continue building a career devoted to advocating for others.
