Ashanti Williams works as a paralegal at Simeone & Miller in matters relating to the pre-litigation processes for various types of personal injury cases. She works with clients throughout the entire pre-litigation process, ensuring that they are taken care of from their initial intake up to their demand, and everything in between. Her excellent communication skills and professionalism guarantees that clients will feel comfortable, know that they are being taken care of, and get the best experience they can.

Ashanti is a current graduate student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology studying Forensic Psychology projected to graduate Spring 2026, she has also graduated Magna Cum Laude at Northern Illinois University, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, minored in Counseling and obtained a certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies. During her time at Northern Illinois University. Ashanti was heavily involved on campus, to which she was inducted into the John Henrik Clarke Honors Society, participated in several organizations including Black is Gold University and The Association of Black Psychologists, and obtained several community services hours. Ashanti also gained leadership experience as well as she served as the Director of Community Engagement for Black is Gold University and The Director of Community Service for The Association of Black Psychologists. While keeping up with her studies and extracurriculars, Ashanti held a position working for Northwestern Medicine being an assistant to social workers who worked within the emergency room department. 

When Ashanti is not in the office, you will likely find her engaging in self-care activities, such as doing Pilates or Yoga, indulging in fashion, or trying her hand at sewing clothes. She has hopes to attend law school in the future to further her legal career and to widen her interest in criminal law and policy, as she is passionate about advocating for the rights of individuals with mental and intellectual disorders who are convicted of crimes.
