Our team at Simeone & Miller, LLP is pleased to announce that Ella Stiso has been chosen for the “Good Lawyers/Good People” scholarship for fall 2023. This Class of 2026 scholar is currently working toward her law degree at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
The “Good Lawyers/Good People” scholarship is awarded on a semesterly basis to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student, who must have demonstrated both academic excellence and a great passion for helping others. The competition is tough—each semester, only one scholar is chosen to receive the $1,000 award.
To say the least, our entire team was moved by Ella’s scholarship essay. There we so many incredible entries this year, but we all agreed that Ella truly earned the top spot. It was an incredibly poignant and touching submission, and we do not doubt that Ella will continue to advocate for those in need. Huge congratulations are in order for Ella Stiso and her winning essay!
