Our Spring Scholarship Has Been Awarded to GSU College of Law Student Jalah Falcher
Simeone & Miller, LLP is pleased to announce that Jalah Falcher has been selected as the winner of the firm’s Spring “Good Lawyers / Good People” Scholarship. Jalah is currently pursuing her legal education at the Georgia State University College of Law.
The “Good Lawyers / Good People” Scholarship was designed to support students who believe the legal system should be a force for positive change and equity. At Simeone & Miller, our practice is built on the dual pillars of high-level legal skill and genuine human empathy. We established this bi-annual award to empower the next generation of advocates who share our dedication to serving as both fierce litigators and trusted community members.
After a thorough review of this semester’s submissions, Jalah Falcher’s essay rose to the top. Her reflections on the intersection of law and service deeply impressed our team, highlighting the exact qualities this scholarship was intended to celebrate. The firm awards this scholarship twice a year to deserving law and undergraduate students. To apply, candidates submit a written or video statement (800-1000 words or 3-5 minutes) detailing their vision for using the law to improve the lives of others.
