Erin Steiger is an Associate Attorney at Simeone & Miller, LLP, where she handles personal injury matters. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia. As an associate at Simeone & Miller, Erin works on cases involving automobile accidents, medical malpractice, and premises liability claims. She also has experience with interpleader cases, minor settlement approvals, and personal injury settlement matters. 

Prior to joining Simeone & Miller, Erin worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Superior Court for the District of Columbia for the Honorable Juliet J. McKenna and the Honorable Gerald Fisher. As a Judicial Law Clerk, Erin gained extensive experience managing both civil and criminal court calendars, conducting legal research, and drafting legal memoranda, proposed orders, voir dire questions, and jury instructions. Erin worked closely with both judges both inside and outside of the courtroom to prepare them for jury trials and non-jury trials and assisted them throughout trial. Through her work as a Judicial Law Clerk, Erin gained invaluable experience related to all stages of the litigation process. 

Erin attended Loyola University Maryland, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in History, and graduated cum laude. She then attended American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C, where she graduated in the top 15% of her class. During law school, Erin received the Anthony Morella Professionalism in Trial Advocacy Award, as well as several other academic honors. She served as the Executive Editor of the Administrative Law Review and the Vice President of the Mock Trial Honor Society. While a member of the then-nationally ranked Mock Trial Honor Society, Erin competed in Mock Trial competitions throughout the country, including at the National Civil Trial Competition in California. 

When not working, Erin enjoys traveling, game nights, and spending time with her family and friends. She is a supporter of New York’s professional sports teams, as well as her adoptive teams the Washington Nationals and Capitals.
