It's not unusual for somebody to come to me and ask me, "What exactly is medical malpractice?"
Medical malpractice is really simple. It's just negligence by a doctor or a nurse or a physician.
A doctor, nurse, or physician has to comply with what's called the standard of care.
They have to behave as a reasonably prudent physician or nurse or other medical practitioner under the same or similar circumstances.
That's all a bunch of legal language that you don't need to worry about.
That's why you hire us to prove that the doctor, the nurse, or other medical professional was negligent.
